What the scan is like
Scans take place at Prenuvo's facilities, which are built to feel calm rather than clinical. The scanning chambers are spacious, and there is in-machine entertainment to help the time pass.

How long does the scan take?

Does a whole body MRI use radiation or contrast?
No. Prenuvo's MRI technology is radiation-free and does not use contrast agents.
I get anxious in scanners. What is it like?
Prenuvo's facilities have spacious scanning chambers and in-machine entertainment, and are designed to avoid the discomfort people often associate with traditional scans. If you have concerns, book a free Care Navigation Call and talk it through before you start.

What happens if the scan finds something?
Your Metabolic Care physician reviews your scan results alongside your labs and health survey and goes through them with you in your 50-minute visit. Findings that warrant follow-up should be discussed with your own doctor. Metabolic Care does not provide emergency care.
Are the cancer-related lab markers a cancer screening test?
They are included for context and trend tracking. Results must be interpreted clinically and do not guarantee early detection. Metabolic Care does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent cancer.
How do I get started?

Can I use insurance, HSA or FSA funds?
Metabolic Care is direct-pay and does not submit or contest insurance claims; fees are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or commercial insurance. Some patients are able to use HSA or FSA funds depending on their own circumstances, and receipts are available on request.
I want the labs and physician review but not the MRI. Is that an option?
Yes. The Advanced Metabolic Roadmap includes the MD Predict advanced lab panel and a 50-minute physician visit for $750, without the scan.
