Dr. Sajad Zalzala is a board-certified family medicine physician and one of the most recognized voices in longevity and preventive medicine in the United States. Over the past two decades, he has built a career at the intersection of clinical care and health innovation, with a particular focus on the therapies and interventions that science suggests can extend not just lifespan, but healthspan — the years lived in good health.
He is best known as co-founder and former Chief Medical Officer of AgelessRx, the first national telemedicine platform dedicated to prescription longevity therapies, which he helped grow to more than 50,000 active patients across all 50 states. Under his clinical leadership, AgelessRx introduced treatments including low-dose rapamycin, metformin, NAD+, and low-dose naltrexone to a broad patient population, and conducted the PEARL trial, one of the first prospective studies on rapamycin’s effects on healthspan in real-world aging adults. He has published more than ten peer-reviewed articles on geroscience, glucose optimization, immune health, and aging interventions, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, CNBC, and Fox News.
Dr. Zalzala also founded Root Causes Medical Consultants, a telehealth practice where he continues to see patients in functional and longevity medicine, and has served as a medical advisor to multiple digital health companies including DexaFit, Hims, and uBiome. He was a finalist in the XPRIZE Healthspan competition, a global challenge attracting more than 600 teams, and is currently completing a book on the emerging science of longevity medicine.
Patients working with Dr. Zalzala gain access to a physician who has spent his career on the front lines of what preventive medicine can actually look like when it moves beyond routine checkups and into the biology of aging itself.
