Data without priority
A long list of molecular findings, and nothing telling you which ones matter most.
Molecular second opinion · Physician interpreted · 100% telehealth
You already paid for the testing. The Astron Health Report goes back through that molecular data, ranks the options the published research supports for your specific findings, and cites every one. A Metabolic Care physician reads the report before your visit, then goes through it with you.

Direct-pay. Metabolic Care does not file or contest insurance claims. This is a second opinion on molecular data you already have. It does not replace your oncologist or the treatment you are on. Physician availability depends on the clinician's licensure and your location.
Molecular testing produces a large amount of data about a tumor. What it usually does not produce is an order of operations. Most patients finish testing holding a document they cannot read, with no sense of which findings matter most or which options connect to them.
The Astron Health Report starts from the data you already paid for. It sorts the findings by what the published research actually supports, links every option to the study behind it, and puts a physician in front of it with you.
A long list of molecular findings, and nothing telling you which ones matter most.
Results that were never tied to specific, research-backed things you could consider.
Nobody with the time to sit down and explain what any of it means for you.
Five parts, and two separate organizations. Astron Health runs the molecular analysis. A Metabolic Care physician does the interpreting. You pay for both in one fee.
01 · Analysis
The genomic and transcriptomic testing you have already had, read for patterns across the whole profile rather than one finding at a time.
02 · Research
Astron searches the peer-reviewed literature for options tied to your specific findings. Published studies only. No anecdotes, no message boards.
03 · Report
Repurposed medications, supplements and adjunctive therapies the research supports for your profile, each with the citation behind it, so you or your oncologist can check the source.
04 · Handoff
The finished report goes to your Metabolic Care physician ahead of your visit. You are not paying a doctor to open it for the first time while you watch.
05 · Protocol
Your physician goes through what applies to you, what does not, and why, then builds a protocol you can take to your oncology team.
A molecular second opinion, not a replacement for your oncologist.
Nothing in the report asks you to stop, change or second-guess the treatment you are on. That decision stays with you and your oncology team. The report is built to sit beside that plan and to give you better questions for your next appointment.
Five steps. Everything happens from home, and the first step costs nothing.
Step 1
A short call to look at the testing you already have and decide whether the report is worth it for you. If it is not, we say so.
No cost, no obligation
Step 2
Upload the testing you already have to our secure portal. We take it from there.
HIPAA-compliant upload
Step 3
Astron reads your molecular data for the findings that matter and matches them against the published research.
Peer-reviewed sources only
Step 4
In 7 to 12 business days you get a written report with clear priorities and the citation behind every option.
Written, cited, yours to keep
Step 5
Meet a Metabolic Care clinician who has already read your report, and go through what is worth considering and what is not.
A physician reads it first
Total timing runs 2 to 4 weeks from upload to consultation, depending on physician availability. If you do not have a genomic profile yet, genomic profiling can be arranged separately.
One fee, paid once. Not a membership. Nothing renews, and nothing gets added on later.
$925
Existing Metabolic Care patients
For patients already established with a Metabolic Care physician.
Most common
$1,275
New Metabolic Care patients
For patients new to Metabolic Care. The initial MD consultation is included in this price, not added to it.
Both prices cover the analysis and the physician interpretation. There is no separate report fee and no monthly charge. Any medications or supplements your physician discusses are purchased separately, wherever you choose to fill them. If you do not already have a genomic report, that profiling is arranged and priced separately.

Dr. Meakin is a board-certified oncologist and metabolic health physician. He reads your Astron report before the visit, tells you which parts he thinks deserve your attention and which do not, and puts it in language you can take to your own oncology team.
Patient coordinators from Heal Navigator handle the logistics, from your first call through scheduling your review, so you are not chasing paperwork in the middle of treatment.
"My consultation with Dr. Meakin was very informative. I learned so much. We established certain goals to achieve over the next 3 months and I feel confident as I begin the process."
Maggie Jones, international journalist
"Dr Meakin takes his time, listens intently, offers educated suggestions for symptoms and gives detailed information about disease, medications, exercise and diet. He treats the whole patient."
Anne, Metabolic Care patient
"Dr. Meakin is very kind and generous with his time. He is a good listener, and can formulate practicable solutions to complex personalized health situations. I feel more confident in my plans after speaking with him."
Susannah, Metabolic Care patient
These reflect individual experiences with Metabolic Care. Patient experiences vary and do not guarantee outcomes.
Built from your own molecular findings, not a template or a general handout for your cancer type.
Each one links to the peer-reviewed study behind it, so you can read the source yourself.
Written so you can hand it to your treating oncologist, not use it behind their back.
Focused on tolerable, evidence-supported options intended to sit alongside your current plan.
A molecular second opinion. Astron Health takes the genomic or transcriptomic tumor report you already have, searches the peer-reviewed literature for options that match your specific findings, and produces a written report with the citation behind each one. A Metabolic Care physician then reads that report and goes through it with you. The report is yours to keep and yours to share.
Two organizations with two different jobs. Astron Health is the analysis partner and produces the report. Metabolic Care is the medical practice, and its physicians interpret that report with you. One fee covers both halves.
The research search is systematic and it covers far more published work than any one person could read in a week. That is the point of using it. What it is not is the last word. A board-certified physician reads the output before you do and tells you which parts hold up for your situation and which do not. The report starts a conversation with a doctor. It is not a prescription.
That is a fair reaction to a report that turns up with no context, and it is why every option in yours is tied to a published citation. A citation is something your oncologist can evaluate. Your Metabolic Care physician can help you frame the questions before you go. You are never asked to choose between the two.
It is possible, and how much a report yields depends on how much your testing captured. That is why the Care Navigation Call comes first and costs nothing. A coordinator looks at what you already have and tells you whether there is enough to work from before you pay for anything.
Yes. The report is an analysis of testing you have already had. If you do not have a genomic profile yet, genomic profiling can be arranged separately before you start.
Existing genomic and transcriptomic tumor testing. If you are not sure whether what you have is enough to work from, book a free Care Navigation Call and a coordinator will look at it with you first.
The report itself takes 7 to 12 business days after you upload your data. Total timing runs 2 to 4 weeks from upload to your physician consultation, depending on physician availability.
$925 for existing Metabolic Care patients and $1,275 for new patients, paid once. Both prices include the analysis and the physician interpretation, and the new patient price includes the initial MD consultation. There is no membership and nothing renews. Any medications or supplements your physician discusses are purchased separately, wherever you choose to fill them.
No. The report is designed to sit alongside your existing oncology plan, and you keep your oncology team. Decisions about your treatment stay between you and them. The report is yours to share with them.
The report covers repurposed medications, supplements and adjunctive therapies that the published research supports for your molecular profile, each with its citations. Any prescription decision is made by a physician. Metabolic Care does not prescribe controlled substances, testosterone, or performance-enhancing drugs.
No. Metabolic Care provides metabolic health support and education that may be used alongside your oncology plan. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent cancer, and it does not guarantee outcomes.
Metabolic Care is direct-pay and does not submit or contest insurance claims; fees are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or commercial insurance. Some patients are able to use HSA or FSA funds depending on their own circumstances, and receipts are available on request.
Providers are licensed in multiple states, and availability depends on the clinician's licensure and your location. You select your state when you get started, and if we cannot see you where you live, we will tell you on the free call rather than after you pay.
Your report is uploaded to a secure portal and all care is delivered on a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted platform.
One fee, one report, and a physician who has read it before you sit down. Start the report, or put your questions to a coordinator first at no cost.
This is a non-clinical call to help you choose the right program. No medical advice is provided.
